Mt. Tabor Park is my most favorite park to go to. Even being a young penguin, I love to hike and bike to the top of it on my own. It is like me versus the volcano to get there. I even enjoy coming here on Wednesday, when the roads are closed and I skateboard down with Papa-Penguin. The views are always incredible as you walk the loop at the top and the wild life (in such a large city) is amazing!
No bushwhacking is needed, as it is a pretty straight forward cache just a few steps off the road. Many people like to bike or jog the loop here at the top, so you will have to work fast. The difficulty is set higher due to the amount of muggles in the area and please camo well when done! Bring a picnic basket and plan a whole day here at the park if you can, there is so much to do!
This cache complies with the geocaching policies for Portland Parks & Recreation (PP&R) properties. Please respect park hours when caching.
Congratulations beigewy on the FTF!

- Cache owners appreciate when finders provide logs about their adventures (or misadventures). Nothing more than TFTC makes us frown.
- Please log DNFs and information about the cache's condition. It helps owners decide when to check on their cache.
- Awarding a cache a favorite point, is a great way to show the cache owner how much you enjoyed the location or creativity that went into it.
