Geocache Description:

Church Micro 11410...Sayers Common - Christ Church

Christ Church, Sayers Common is one of the three church buildings of the parish of Albourne, Sayers Common and Twineham. The church was constructed around 1879 following an original design by C Barry junior, the son of Sir Charles Barry the architect of the Houses of Parliament and of Hurstpierpoint church. In order to save money, it is constructed mostly from flint and brick, rather than of dressed stone which was the original intention.
