The first pitstop of this series
begins in our wonderful home country of South Africa. You
will need to travel by car to the above co-ordinates where you can
park your car and start this leg of the race.
Detour
You will need to make a choice between 2
separate routes here: The High Road and The Low
Road. If you
wish to continue with the Amazing Cache series and the rest of
the race, you will need to take the High Road.
This route entails difficult-to-reach waypoints and tricky
hiding spots, but if you apply your mind, you will surely
enjoy the challenge. If you feel too weak at heart to
attempt the High Road, you may take the Low Road route, a much
easier choice, which will still get you to the final cache,
but you will be eliminated from the race.
If you choose to take the High
Road, please read the Cache Details for
Pitstop #2 (Japan), before you attempt this cache. (This is
intended to save you time & frustration).
Each route contains 4 waypoints
before they both lead to the final cache. The co-ordinates given
above will put you in the centre of the 1st waypoints, before you
decide to make your route choice. The waypoints are separated
by large distances (between 800m - 1,2km), so your car or bicycle
is going to come in handy.
