Geocache Description:

A family-friendly micro located in Terrell Mill Park, Iowa City.

A family-friendly micro located approximately 30-40’ off the popular Iowa River Corridor Bike Trail in Terrell Mill Park, Iowa City. No bushwhacking is required. This cache should be a quick easy find.

Due to the location of the cache, please use extreme stealth when finding and replacing the container. Expect frequent muggle traffic. Please take care when retrieving and replacing the cache (film canister). This micro cache is log only, so bring a pen. The cache is easily accessible without moving any nearby objects.

Parking is available near the cache in Terrell Mill Park. Be advised that during the University school year, this parking lot is often full from residents of the nearby dormitory, especially on weekends. Terrell Mill Park banks the Iowa River and boasts a nice skate board facility should you wish to “shred the rail” after your visit to the cache.

The nearby structure, titled Four Module Piece, was produced in 1968 by Kenneth Snelson. It has resided in several locations and configurations around Iowa City. Most recently, it resided in downtown Iowa City near the corner of Dubuque St. and Iowa Ave, before it was moved to its current location. When logging your visit to this cache, please provide your own name and/or artistic interpretation for this object. What does it inspire in you?

The Lego Crew invites cachers to bring along their bikes to ride the corridor trail. A map of Iowa City area trails is available at (visit link)

The cache has been placed with permission from the Iowa City Parks and Recreation Department. Park hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
