A QUICK CACHE AND DASH

This Roundabout was called THE MAGIC ROUNDABOUT by the Local Bus Drivers as they had to go all the way round to get to the bus stop., but is now the entrance to a new housing estate which spoilt the bus route, but the name has remained.

The Magic Roundabout was created in 1965 and featured a rather off-the-wall cast.
Dougal, a shaggy dog who ate only sugar;
an eccentric bouncing character called Zebedee;
Dylan the rabbit;
Ermintrude the pink cow,
Florence and Brian the snail.
