Wizard and Glass picks up with our five heroes in a vexing situation. Roland, Eddie, Susannah, Jake, and Oy are speeding to their death at the figurative hands of Blaine the Train.

After being rescued by Eddie's child-like (childish?) sense of humor, they make camp, where Roland tells his ka-mates a story from his youth.

It's a story of love, hate, murder, and intrigue. Roland and two of his childhood friends are sent to Mejis as punishment for some boyhood shenanigans. While there, they uncover a plot against the Affiliation. Roland keeps his father apprised of the situation using carrier pigeons and coded messages.

The young apprentice Gunslingers finally prevail, but at a dreadful cost.

Your task is to decipher the following message, which has been cloaked in the Symbols of the Eld. Should you succeed, you may add your name to the list of those who may, someday, be known as Gunslingers.
