This event is a 1st for
Bismarck/Mandan and open to anyone with an interest in
Geocaching. If your just starting or are an experienced
cacher this is the event you dont want to miss. If you are a
new cacher and don't have a GPS, that's ok we will have a few on
hand to use.
Learning boards have been
made to help understand Geocaching and there will be many
experienced cachers on hand to help you through the steps of
learning to Geocache. We will be placing temporary caches for
everyone to find and at the end of the day these will be given away
for the winner to re-hide them. A special kids cache will be
hidden with prizes for the kids to find.
Please bring a sack
lunch, drinks and your GPS if you have one. Also bring any
Travel Bugs or Geocoins that you want to share with other
geocachers to discover or trade. There will be many
activities, door prizes and suprises.
We would like to get an
idea of how many will be attending so please post a Will Attend Log
on the cache page. This is a family event so we ask that NO
ALCOHOLIC beverages be brought to this event.
