Geocache Description:

This cache is located in a very nice park on French Island. This park is named after Norm Wardwell. He was a longtime of resident of French Island. His residence was right across the street from this very same park. His widow still live there today. It's the house with all the bells in the yard. Norm loved to collect bells. There is one huge bell in the front yard which he took out of a church and refurbished it. While talking with his widow she let us ring this one. WOW!!! a terrific and loud sound from this bell. Norm was also a firefighter for the Town of Campbell. This is why the fire department helped put this park together. Norm also was responsible for getting the playground equipment in this park.
[Thanks goes out to the Town of Campbell for giving us permission to put the cache in the park]

When looking for this container, please respect the area the cache is located in. You will know what I am talking about when you arrive near ground zero. The cache can be found without climbing in or disrupting any plants/bushes. Let's make sure we represent our hobby well.
