Texas Instruments conducted Uranium Operations here from 1952 thru 1981.

This Site,(SHPACK Landfill)in 1952 , Texas Intruments , (when it was Metals and Controls), Began to fabricate enriched Uranium Foils under a Government Contract for the US Naval Reacters Program , Air Force , and other US Government funded research.

Now its closed for over 20 Years , and its not a good idea to live around here.

On one side of the Street is Nuclear Waste Material...

And on the other side , is a Eco Friendly watershed area.??? (Go Figure)...
