The center line of Edogawa river was a boundary in Tokyo and Chiba Pref. before.
However, the Edogawa drainage canal was completed in 1919 and the flow of Edogawariver has changed.
The sandbar was newly done soon.
The argument continues since then.Will new land be Tokyo? Or, will it be Chiba?

ところが1919年に江戸川放水路が完成し、江戸川の流れが変わってしまいました。
やがて新たに砂州ができあがりました。それ以来、ここが東京都なのか、千葉県なのか議論が続いています。
