This cache is an ammo can, hidden along the Eau Claire River, on Eau Claire County Forest land. The cache is in an area of the forest named the Donald Eisberner Memorial Forest. There was a forest fire here in April 24, 1982 and Eisberner was a firefighter who died fighting a fire that started from a campfire that got out of control. There have been at least 3 fires near here since then, including a small one just last year.
