Geocache Description:

Don't go to church on Sunday
Don't get on my knees to pray
Don't memorize the books of the Bible
I got my own special way
Bit I know Jesus loves me
Maybe just a little bit more
I fall on my ........knees ........every Sunday
At Zerelda........Lee's........candy store
Well it's got to be a chocolate Jesus
Make me feel good inside
Got to be a chocolate Jesus
Keep me satisfied
Well I don't want no Anna Zabba
Don't want no Almond Joy
There ain't nothing better
Suitable for this boy
Well it's the only thing
That can pick me up
Better than a cup of gold

See only a chocolate Jesus
Can satisfy my soul
-Tom Waits

The term pareidolia describes a psychological phenomenon involving a vague and random stimulus (often an image or sound) being perceived as significant. Common examples include seeing images of animals or faces in clouds, the man in the moon, and hearing hidden messages on records played in reverse. The word comes from the Greek para- —"beside", "with" or "alongside"- meaning, in this context, something faulty or wrong (as in paraphasia, disordered speech)—and eidolon—"image" (the diminutive of eidos—"image", "form", "shape"). Pareidolia is a type of apophenia. - wikipedia

CACHE LOCATED AT N44°AB.CDE W88°FG.HIJ

Yup you've seen some of these before, perhaps on eBay or maybe in a tabloid as you're standing in the checkout in the grocer's. Funny how He seems to turn up more frequently in consumable items than anywhere else. You probably haven't seen them all and you sure will have to dig deep into your bag of chips or cheetos to find your own personal Cheesus. The locations for some of these are linked to the news outlet that broke the story, not necessarily the name of the town they were discovered in.

Chambersburg (5), Dallas (7), Forest (6), Kingston (2), Las Vegas (8), Long Beach (1), Luther (1), Melton (8), Salt Lake City (6), Santa Barbara (6).
