Stopped by to check on some of the Caches, here in Vinton. We had to
"repair" some and check some. We'll work on the others as we can.
BCNU down the road.. This one has been AWOL off/on several times.

Watch your step here.. There might be a few broken branches, weeds, thorns, poison ivy, holes in the ground, etc. ALL of these are typical for Iowa Forests.. [:0]

Strollers and wheel-chairs are allowed on the trail, but going OFF the trail to find the caches would not be advised in most cases...

This is one in a series of caches to raise awareness for the Old Creamery Nature Trail. There will be more to come in the future. Please keep in mind that this trail is still in the development stages and the west segment from Garrison to Dysart requires more bicycle diligence, BUT it is an excellent place in nature and a great opportunity for Geocaching.

The Old Creamery Nature Trail is "in Work" but is nice enough to ride mountain bikes, walk, etc., as it has gravel on all of the trail.

PLUS, have the pleasure of finding a few caches, along the way.. ENJOY!!!

Just for a start, there are 24 total caches hidden along the Old Creamery Nature Trail (OCNT), between the Parking area and Garrison.. (Approximately 6 Miles)..

There are also approximately 25 Caches hidden on the OCNT between Garrison, IA. and Dysart, IA. (Approximately 9 miles)....
