Geocache Description:

Time for a Hawkeye-themed cache by this Hawk fan.

If you haven't figured it out yet, I am an Iowa Hawkeye fan. So this hide honors that passion and takes the nickname of the student fan section at Hawkeye basketball games.

Don't worry - it's not hidden up high in a tree where you would typically find a nest. You are looking for a camouflaged large pelican container that is stocked with swag, trade items, and has room for small trackables. I have started the inventory with a Hawkeye-themed TB. This cache will be available in winter, but will be more difficult with fallen leaves and/or snowcover (however the tree cover causing signal bounce will be less

).

Cache is located on private property with owner permission. PLEASE respect neighboring property and follow these guidelines:
1. Park on a nearby public street and approach from the east. You should see a natural entry point into the "forest".
2. Do not search after dark unless you have night vision goggles. Flashlights used at night could be annoying and distracting to neighbors or prompt a phone call about suspicious activity.
