Another cache in the "Joy to the World" series
On one of the annual camping trips to Bar Harbor, Barefoot, LisaS, and PJPreb decided to go explore the Northeast Creek located off Route 3 as you enter Mount Desert Island. While paddling in the creek and hearing the croak of the frogs, we broke into the lyrics of the song Joy to the World and quickly decided a cache needed to be placed in this area. The idea for the Joy to the World series then quickly went into the planning stages
This is one of two caches that are located in the Narrows on two islands called the Twinnies which can be accessed from various locations. We recommend paddling from Hadley's Point Beach. You will need information from this cache to find the "Joy to the World" cache GC1WRWB. As with any kayak accessible cache, we urge you to use caution and beware of the weather conditions, tide stages, and your paddling abilities.
