Grandma and Grandpa reading the good book
Stage One: The posted coordinates will take you to a location in the City of Waupaca where Stage One is located. Stage One can be found by using various technologies and the clues within this written description. This first stage has an unconventional container that holds the coordinates for the final stage. Please thank the folks at Stage One for allowing its placement.
JACK W. PETERS spent a lot of time and effort to produce a work available at this location. Be sure to consider all the AVAILABLE placement options.
Stage One can be found only during the following hours:
Mondays 9 to 8; Tuesdays 9 to 8; Wednesdays 9 to 8; Thursdays 9 to 8; Fridays 9 to 5; Saturdays 10 to 2; Not Available on Sundays.*** If these hours do not fit your schedule, email the cache owner. Final coordinates may also be found at a nearby cache.***
Stage Two: This final stage is not difficult. It is in rural Waupaca, approximately 3 miles from Stage 1. The trading goods in this final stage are in a stack of three blue plastic coffee cans suitably camo'd. There is room for lots of trading goodies and trackables, and it has been fully stocked when put out.
Park on the shoulder of the residential sidestreet at N44* 18.970 W089* 06.908. Walk a short distance straight south and carefully cross the county highway. The Final will be found approximately 100' into the wooded area.
Appreciation is extended to the Board and Ms. Burrington and Mr. Klein for permission to place this cache. Also, many thanks to Cardinal, a GeoCacher from Arkansas, for the inspiration for this cache.
Logging Etiquette: Geocache hiders sometimes go through a great deal of planning to place their caches. As a result, they'd like to hear your feedback on whether you liked or disliked any aspect of the hide, or if you feel that some cache maintenance is required. Single word, acronym, or emoticon logs may be easier when you have a lot of caches to log, but it doesn't tell the hider or other finders anything about your adventure (or lack thereof) in finding the cache. Please keep this in mind when entering your log. |
Congrats to conejo rojo for FTF honors on 08/31/2009!
