Geocache Description:

THE CACHE IS NOT LOCATED AT THE POSTED COORDINATES. However, you can park there.

This is a combination puzzle cache and multi-cache. You need to do a little research about Wartburg College to find the coordinates for the first stage. You will find the second stage coordinates there, and there you will find the third stage coordinates. All three stages have muggle danger, especially when classes are in session. You can complete all three stages on foot, just by walking around the campus. Park at the coordinates given.

To find the first stage, you will need to change the last three digits of the parking coordinates. (42N 43.AAA, 92W 28.BBB)

The last three digits of the latitude (AAA) correspond to the number of points scored by Wartburg College in the 2007-08 Director's Cup. This was a record for the most points ever scored by an Iowa college in the competition.

The last three digits of the longitude (BBB) you need to take the year Wartburg was started in Saginaw divided by 4 plus the year Wartburg was started in St. Sebald divided by 3 plus the year Wartburg returned to Waverly divided by 215 minus the year Wartburg was started in Dubuque divided by 17. These are four of the seven locations that Wartburg has been in over the years.

I would not describe this cache as winter friendly, even though it was activated in the Winter. You can do it, but it is certainly more challenging. It is best completed during the Summer when classes aren't in session. The first two stages do not have logs, and contain only the coordinates for the next stage. The final stage is a camouflaged Rubbermaid container.

I have added a Geochecker.com link for the first stage. You can check to make sure you have the correct coordinates before you leave home. Congratulations to looking4gems for being the First to Find.
