How exciting! The Flamingos wanted to visit the park, sort of a
springtime retreat. When they saw all the trash in the park...well,
they were sad. So, here's our chance to clean up a neat park and
have fun!
This CITO event is our way of saying thanks to the park and land
managers that kindly allow us to use their parks to play our
game.
When: Sunday 04/25/10, rain or shine
Time: 10am till 3pm-ish
Location: Mastodon State Park in Imperial
Look out for our mascot the Flamingo! Why a Flamingo? Well,
they’re pink and gosh darn cute! I’m sure if they could
they would like to help pick up trash as well.
We do ask that you bring gloves and your FRS/GMRS radios(tuned to
2-33.) Bottled water, sodas, and hot dogs will be provided, but if
you'd like you can bring a snack to share. We'll also have some
prizes as well.
This area is filled with some great caches and some not so great
trash.
We do ask that you put this listing on your watchlist in case there

Took a quick stroll through the park today, I noticed the doggies
have left a few land mines...eewww! The skeeters and ticks are also
out, so bring bug spray with you. I hope to see everyone at the
CITO!
***4/24/10 UPDATE*** I'm truly hoping that the rain will clear up
by 11am on Sunday so we can pick up a bit of trash. It will be
muddy and slushy so please dress appropriately...no stiletto heels
or Armani suits.
If you can't make it, I will totally understand it.
