Explorer Leaders don't make life easy for their Explorer Scouts - They have to learn to do things for themselves and life isn't easy!
This cache uses the orienteering course at Rufford Country Park to solve the clues to find the cache.
Around the park there are wooden posts with numbers and letters on.
The GPS coordinates given is the start post which shows you what you are looking for.
The actual cache is at
North KL E.(S-Z)K(J-M) West (Y-O) (F-N).VB(P-A)
Substitute the letters in the clue for the numbers on the posts. Some simple maths is required.
For example;
If A=5 and B=7 then (B-A) = 2
A(B-A)B would be 527
The whole course can be done in around 2 hours plus time to go and find the Cache itself.
This is a good course for those who want a bit of GPS practice. 23 mini caches in a small space + an actual cache at the end.
