Geocache Description:

This cache is part of a series intended to showcase Wisconsin's Rustic Roads (W.R.R.). Wisconsin Legislature established the Rustic Roads program in 1973 to preserve what remains of Wisconsin's scenic, lightly traveled roads.

View from Cana Island Road

WRR #38 passes through a unique boreal forest between Moonlight Bay and North Bay, filled with magnificent specimens of spruce, cedar and white pine and various species of rare and valuable plants. The route provides scenic views of Cana Island Lighthouse and the Lake Michigan shoreline.

This cache will be hidden in the right-of-way somewhere along this Rustic Road. Parking will be limited and traffic may be a concern at certain times as these roads do attract tourists - so take care. Once GZ is realized, the hide should be quite obvious.
Please replace the cache as found. Have fun and thanks for coming.
Note: Cache will be OK in winter as long as there is not much snow.
