Geocache Description:

This is a tricky little puzzle cache placed in Marion.

Have you ever been walking down a trail or path to a cache and see a feather on the ground and wondered what bird it went to? Here's your chance to learn a few of them!!

When solving the feathers, ALL birds only use one name. For example, a red headed woodpecker would be just be a woodpecker.



Many people might not know that I actually have a degree in Parks and Natural Resources. I decided I that I should place a cache with the knowledge I learned while studying for my degree.

All of the feathers below are from birds that can be found in Iowa and you may have seen before but just didn't know who they belonged to.
