Sue’s Silliness Mystery Cache

This cache has been archived.

RonTon: This cache was on public property. Rather than subject anyone else to this alcoholic neighbor we are saying goodbye. He must think that being his is the only house on this public road that he owns the road.

It has been there almost three years and there have been two encounters with this fellow.

Geocache Description:

Congratulations to StealthRT for FTF!

                        Sue’s Silliness

‘What is Geocaching?’ I asked Ron one fall day.
He patiently explained. We were soon on our way!

Just a couple of old folks out in our car,
Cruising highways and byways so near and so far.

The road was long and rocky. Dust hung in the air.
Then a surprise! I asked Ron, ‘What’s that over there?’

(A) geese a laying? Also the (B) little pigs?
A house with (C) gables? My goodness! It’s big!

The corn in the field stood so straight and so tall!
Knee high by the (D) of July? Really? That’s all!

Hmm…what road should we take? There’s a fork straight ahead.
The lesser of (E) evils, there’s nothing to dread!

Two’s company and (F)? It’s a crowd so they say.
Why are Snow White’s (G) dwarfs out here in our way?

We left them behind ‘cause our mission was a cache.
I was floating on cloud (H) - first to find that stash!

We hopped back into the car so pleased with our find.
Our new destination? The good old (I) and dime.

We needed some swag and something cold to drink.
Our minds were preoccupied. We just didn’t think.

A siren? And lights? Sigh! Until now all was fine.
A cop stopped us and said, ‘There’s (J) sides on that STOP sign!’

There’s (K) pints in a gallon, (L) lives of a cat,
(M) sides to an argument. He didn’t like that!

A ticket? Oh no! That’s not what caching’s about!
With caution he warned us,‘(N) strikes and you’re out!’

With relief we continued well on our way.
We’re tired and hungry, but it’s been a fun day!

We hope you’re enjoying our silliness and fun.
You’ve got numbers and clues so don’t just sit there – RUN!!
