Geocache Description:

First in the Pioneer Biker Cache series.

The Cache container was placed during a lunch stop by members of the 24th Lutheran Pioneer National Bike Trip. We were riding from Baraboo to Beaver Dam that day. We thouroghly enjoyed the breeze off the lake that kept the mosquitos away.

The cache has a strange affinity to the number 387.

Chandler park is home to the Pardeeville Watermelon Festival. (visit link) Next year it will be held on September 8th, 2012. This would be a great day to visit the park, but extreme stealh would be required in hunting the cache. This is true any time a game is on. It may be better to visit later if there are too many people looking at you. The container is a pill bottle containing a log and small trading items from NYC. Please bring your own pencil.
