This is #3 of ten Howell Campground GeoCaching Primer (HCGCP) caches placed for Lake Red Rock's Big Geocaching Event, September 18, 2010.
You'll be able to see the cache container without even touching anything so don't tamper with the equipment! Update: My nano cache on the bench nearest the dam is no more (the replacement bench has too little exposed metal). I wanted to include a nano in this introductory series to geocaching, so I moved it here. Cachers lobbied to make nanos a special size category, but they're just included in micros. I wanted to show you one in an easy spot so you'll know what you're looking for if you encounter them elsewhere. It's magnetic, about the size of your pinky fingertip :) You may need tweezers and definitely BYOP (bring your own pen). See photo.
