This event will take place the evening of 1-22-2011 at
18:00-2100hrs (6:00pm-9:00pm) at the Lockwood Community Center @
800 Peri Ranch Road, Lockwood, NV.
This event is a celebration of the Geocaching community and you are
part of that community. Please help us make this an event to
remember!
Please register that you will or will not be able to attend the
event by logging "Will Attend" with a number of adults and
children, as well as what sort of dish you will bring so that we
can be sure to make the necessary arrangements.
We would like to get a good variety of food choices and encourage
you to bring either your favorite recipe or a dish you have been
wanting to experiment with!
This is the only place to get the "HIGHLY COVETED" GBES
Geocachers 1000 Find Pin. To earn a GBES 1000-find pin you
must:
- Be a registered member, in good standing of the Great Basin
Eastern Sierra Geocachers. That means that you have registered on
our GBES Geocachers
Website. or that you have sent us an email indicating your
desire to be a member. The email would go to
GBESEvents@gmail.com.
- Have found at least 1,000 geocaches based on the information
logged on your account at: http://www.geocaching.com/my/
- Notify the GBES Board of Directors of your achievements through
gbesevents@gmail.com
Members of GBES who live outside of our home territory
(Californians west of the crest of the Sierra; or members from
other states or countries) are subject to the above rules in
addition to one of the following:
- You must have found at least 100 (one hundred) caches within
Nevada's borders.
- You must have completed the Nevada DeLorme Challenge
cache.
- You must have participated, and completed, one of the GBES
Geocaching & Navigational Rallies.
- You must have attended a minimum of five GBES sponsored event
caches.
SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES WILL BE EVALUATED ON A CASE BY CASE
BASIS.

course, can be ANY cache that YOU HAVE FOUND OR ATTEMPTED.
