Geocache Description:

A hike or snowshoe trek along the Wild Rice Trail will lead you to this "Outback" location.

RE-HIDE as well or better than you found it. We have lost two ammo cans near this location. THANKS!!

Mirror Lake State Park with its 2200 acres and 28+ miles of trails is a wonderful get-away close to the Wisconsin Dells area. The calm waters of Mirror Lake often reflect the wooded shoreline and picturesque sandstone cliffs. The Wild Rice Trail winds along a marshy area that conceals the confluence of Dell Creek and Harrison Creek near the beginning of Mirror Lake.

Although not a long trail, we enjoy the peace and quiet of the Wild Rice Trail area, away from most of the busy-ness of the Dells. This has long been a favorite snowshoe hike for us.

Be wary of any muggles nearby as you search, as other nearby caches have come up missing. Please take care while uncovering the cache and re-hide the cache as you found it. it.

The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to Paul Zajackowski of the Wisconsin DNR.
