Belgrade Stream - Underwater Cache Traditional Geocache
JustPJ66: Primary access to this cache is across our property but we have farm animals that we would prefer not be startled (even unintentionally) by cachers headed to get this cache. It was fun while it lasted but it's gotta go!

Underwater cache
We’ve been intrigued by the underwater attribute and decided it was time to place a cache we can place with the attribute. The cache is beneath the waters of the Belgrade Stream.
This is a cache that you might need a snorkel, you might need a wetsuit, and you might need a towel (you might get, at the very least, damp). It is accessible by kayak by launching from the parking coordinates for GC2BBBP, Anti-LT Kayak Cache #1: The Hummock at N 44° 25.983 W 069° 54.149 and going up Belgrade Stream (while you’re at it continue on and get the Anti-LT cache as well). If the neighbors have placed their dock in the stream, permission has not been asked to use it while looking for this cache. Please respect our neighbors and stay off the dock. You cannot access the cache from the kayak, you will have to exit your craft!
If you got seasick watching Gilligan’s Island, have we got a deal for you. If you go to CG24VNY, 1790’s at N 44° 26.501 W 069° 54.096 (and while you’re there be sure to find and log it as well) you can bushwhack from there. Well, okay, so there’s a mowed trail out past the garden (no permission is granted for harvesting anything from said garden, feel free to weed as you pass however). Once you pass through the rock wall you’ll see a fence on your left, please to not cross the fence line. Here’s where the bushwhacking begins, the terrain here is not too rough but it precludes access by wheelchair. Keep an eye open for poison ivy as well. We try to keep it under control but it is in the area of the garden. Once again, you might need a snorkel, you might need a wetsuit and you might need a towel. JustKev got wet while placing the cache, after all.
Fair warning to those who use the second method to attempt to find this cache, if you are seen your picture will be taken and posted to this listing so, please dress accordingly.
Please be sure to re-seal the cache container tightly so it won’t leak. After all, it is under water. There is no writing implement in the cache so please bring your own pen/pencil.
