Geocache Description:

New section of Wabash Cannonball Trail, now open to the public!

Wauseon has a large railroad history.

These caches are named for the different raillines that have
passed through the town and Fulton County.

The Toledo & Indiana Railway was one of many interrurban passenger railroads that came to life in the early 1900s. Once the advent of buses took hold, many of these passenger hubs turned away from the rails. The passenger station for the line through Wauseon was the Dyer & McDermott store downtown.
