Come join the fun as we kick-off our Discover Roseburg 2 / Land of Umpqua Geocache Series!
Pick up your passport on Saturday, February 4, 2012 between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm in the conference room at:
Sleep Inn Hotel / 2855 NW Edenbower Blvd / Roseburg Oregon 97470.
This geocache series, which consists of 5 traditional caches and 15 virtual caches, will lead cachers to city parks and sights around Roseburg. Limited edition (250 available) Discover Roseburg 2 / Land of Umpqua Geocoins will be awarded to those who complete the geocache series!
After the kick-off event, passports to the series can be picked up at and/or returned to Roseburg City Hall (1st floor) / 900 SE Douglas (541-492-6730) Monday - Friday between 8:00 am - 12:00 pm & 1:00 - 5:00 pm. After hours locations: Sleep Inn & Suites of Roseburg / 2855 NW Edenbower Blvd / Roseburg (541-464-8338) and Waldron's Outdoor Sports / 330 NW Garden Valley Blvd / Roseburg (541-672-8992) Saturday 9:30 am - 5:00 pm. The series will continue untill all 250 coins are awarded!
This kick-off event will inc
lude a raffle which will take place in the Sleep-Inn conference room at 3:00 pm. Anyone who brings in a raffle donation will get an extra raffle ticket. There will be a children's cache onsite. The Umpqua Valley Geocacher's Association will be hosting a travel bug table. APK Studios of McMinville, Oregon will also be onsite so you will be able to pick up your geocaching supplies.
