26 U. S. County A-Z Challenge Cache
The Challenge is to:
Read the entire cache page first!
Then:
Complete the alphabet A to Z by finding 26 total caches in 26 different U.S. counties with county names that START or END with the letters A through Z. One cache and one county for each letter. All previous finds count and all cache types count.
Each county name can be used only once. So for B or N you can use Brown County, but you cannot use Brown for both B and N.
Note: For Q, X and Z the letter only needs to be in the county name.
Find the cache container at the posted coordinates and sign the log.
To Log this cache:
Post a log listing the 26 counties A-Z along with the state and GC number so the finds can be verified.
Example: Ashley (AK) GC12345, Benton (TN) GC54321, ManitowoC (WI) GC98756 etc.
If discrepancies are found, your log will be deleted.
Bonus Logging
First complete the challenge as described above. Then, if you find a cache in a county who’s name actually STARTS or ENDS with a Q, an X, or a Z then you may log this cache again.
TIP: Remember that each county name can be used only once. So, for example, you may want to save Halifax County for the bonus X log, and use Exeter County for the initial X log.
You may log this cache up to four times.
First: The initial log for the 26 county A-Z cache challenge.
Then once more each for the Q, X, and Z bonus logs if you so desire.
You would now have 29 caches total.
You cannot log the bonuses first!
