(PL) Tzw. katakumby – romantyczna budowla ogrodowa, wzniesiona na przełomie XVIII i XIX w. w Skarpie Wiślanej, między kościołem pw. św. Katarzyny i wsią Służew. Podziemny, ceglany korytarz, sklepiony kolebkowo, o długości około 60 m, na rzucie zbliżonym do elipsy. Po obu stronach korytarza symetrycznie rozmieszczone wnęki; cześć z nich zaopatrzona w trzy rzędy nisz. Wejście wiodło przez pawilon o nieznanym dziś wyglądzie. W okresie, gdy okolica ta należała do Stanisława Kostki Potockiego, prawdopodobnie było to miejsce spotkań członków loży wolnomularskiej.

Od lat 30. XIX w. budowla użytkowana jako piwnica gospodarcza; w pobliżu wejścia zbudowano szyb wentylacyjny. W późniejszym okresie pawilon z wejściem uległ całkowitemu zniszczeniu. Zawalił się również południowo-wschodni odcinek korytarza i większość ścian zamykających wnęki. Obecnie budowla jest mało dostępna i bardzo zniszczona. W połowie lat. 90. XX w. została wpisana do ewidencji zabytków jako cmentarz. Zimuje tu niewielka grupa nietoperzy. - źródło Wikipedia.
Do skrzynki najprościej dojdziesz od ulicy Renety, ścieżką około cmentarza (waypoint S1). Skrytka znajduje się parę metrów przed wejściem do katakumb (waypoint K1) więc nie trzeba wchodzić do środka! Wejście do katakumb strzeżone krzyżem. Wchodzenie tylko na własną odpowiedzialność i stanowczo odradzam szczególnie w zimę z powodu nietoperzy, które źle znoszą nasze odwiedziny. Nie ryzykuj! Kesz jest częścią luźnej serii „Conspiracy theory” na temat Teorii spiskowych. Logbook zawiera wskazówkę do kesza bonusowego. Wskazówką jest litera (W lub E) oraz odległość w metrach do siedziby Wielkiego Mistrza. Nie zapomnij zapisać sobie literę i metry! BYOP!
(EN) The so-called Catacombs was a romantic garden building, built at the turn of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries in the Vistula escarpment, between the Church of. St. Catherine and Służew village. Underground brick corridor, with a length of about 60 m in the shape close to the ellipse. On both sides of the corridor symmetrically arranged recesses, some of which provided with three rows of niches. Entrance was in the hall of building with today unknown appearance. At a time when this area belonged to Stanislaw Kostka Potocki, it was probably a meeting place for members of the Masonic lodge.
Since the 30s of nineteenth century, the building was operated as a basement. Vent was built near the entrance. Later the entry hall was completely destroyed. South-eastern section in the of the corridor collapsed as well as most of the walls closing the cavity. Today the building is not well accessible and very damaged. In the mid. 90th it has been entered in the register of monuments as a cemetery. A small group of bats overwinters here.
The easiest way to get to the cache location is from Renety street using the path around the cemetery (waypoint S1). You do not need to enter catacombs to get the cache! Cache is located a few meters from the entrance to the catacombs (waypoint K1). The entrance is guarded by the cross. Entering only at your own risk and I do not recommend it as this is potentially danger place. Do not take any risk! Cache is a part of somehow loose series „Conspiracy theory”. Logbook contains hint for the Bonus cache. The hint is a character (W or E) and distance to the residence of the Grand Master. Do not forget to write it down! BYOP!
