Welcome to Ulladulla - Travel Bug Hotel Traditional Geocache
Gill & Tony: AS I drove past this morning council workers were cutting down all the trees. I had a chat with the foreman and was allowed to retrieve the cache.
All trackables except BV Cache Knight were retrieved.
I believe that council will dig out the tree stumps and will grass the whole area. If that happens the area will be unsuitable for a cache and so I am archiving this cache so I can move the TB hotel tpo a completely new location.

Welcome to Ulladulla. There is no travel bug hotel nearby, so this was created as a quick park and grab cache, directly on the Princes highway, roughly half way between Nowra and Batemans Bay, with sufficient room to park travel bugs.
This is the Northern entrance to Ulladulla, with the new welcome sign. Locals have debated the significance of the poles adorning the sign. The official explanation is that they represent masts in the harbour. The unofficial explanation is chopsticks from the many asian restaurants in the area. Whatever, the cache isn't actually at the sign.
The cache is a 1 litre Sistema container. At the time of initial placement it contained just a log, a pen and a muggle notice. When (and if) it is approved, I will seed it with some TB's.
If travelling South, you can park just before reaching the "Village Dr" street sign. If travelling North, you can stop on the highway, but it might be safest to turn left into Village Drive and park there.
There is a concrete pathway close to GZ, so some stealth and misdirection may be needed, especially around 3:00 - 4:00 pm when local school children will be passing.
