Prairie Rose - State Park Series Traditional Geocache

This cache is part of a pilot project between the Iowa DNR and the IGO designed to evaluate geocaching in Iowa's state parks. The project will evaluate 25 caches at Honey Creek Park for one year. Each cache will have an approved permit.

Rolling hills and a lake glistening in the sun make Prairie Rose a lovely backdrop for a day of fun outdoors. Soak up the sun on the beach and then cool off with a dip in the lake.
Relax with rod and reel along the shore or catch a breeze while boating. Amble along the interpretive trail to spot wildlife.
