This Husker would like to meet some Gophers. Ok, not the furry kind, but the caching kind. If you aren't a "gopher", well I'd still like to meet you!
I was lucky enough to be in St. Paul last month for work and gobble up some nice challenge caches, but I was not able to attend any events. Since I'll be in town this week, I figured, what the heck, I'll just schedule my own event and hope that someone shows up.
You will find this event at Panera Bread at the SE corner of Ford Parkway and Cleveland Ave South. I attended a meet-n-greet in Columbus, OH at a Panera Bread and it worked well there, so I thought that I'd try to set up a meet-n-greet at one here. Pizza joints and bars work well too for meet-n-greets, but I don't know any in the area that would work for us. I'm back to Panera, something I know.
Let's plan on meeting at 6 p.m. I talked with someone at the store and they don't have a designated party room, but I'm hoping that being a Wednesday night, it won't be busy.
Purchase is not necessary. If you choose to buy food or drink, do so on your own dime and meet where ever there is a large-ish group of people. I'll be the one that looks like a Husker!
