Geocache Description:

From 1891 to approximately 2001, a meat packing plant was in operation in Dubuque, Iowa. It was one of the largest employers in Dubuque for many years. Starting in the 1980's the company began a series of cutbacks the included layoffs and the eventual sale of the company. The Dubuque label was known for its quality canned hams.

The closest parking that I know about is street parking found on the side street across the canal. I parked there and walked across the bridge when I placed the cache.
