Il Bastione di Santa Croce (noto come Bastione di "Santu Juanni") si trova nel quartiere Castello a pochi passi dalla Torre dell'Elefante, dalla Basilica di Santa Croce e dal Ghetto degli Ebrei, in via Santa Croce. Quest'area era il rione ebraico (l'antica Giudaria) fino al 1500, dopo l'espulsione degli Ebrei dalla città. Da questa terrazza si può ammirare uno dei più bei panorami di Cagliari e vedere scorci dei quartieri di Marina e Stampace, così come il porto.
Il Bastione di Santa Croce è, soprattutto d'estate, uno dei posti più affollati e vivi di Cagliari, grazie ai pub e locali presenti accanto alla piazza e alla sua romantica vista della città che diventa meravigliosa durante il tramonto. Mi raccomando, attenzione alle persone che passeggiano attorno e che, sì, sono là per controllare voi e il vostro atteggiamento sospetto! ;) Buona caccia, e... fatevi una bella foto davanti allo stupendo panorama.

The "Bastione di Santa Croce" (known also as "Bastione di Santu Juanni") is located in the Castello quarter, not far from the Elephant Tower, the Basilica of Santa Croce and The Jewish Ghetto, in Via Santa Croce. This area was the Jewish quarter (the ancient Giudaria) till 1500, after the expulsion of the Jews from the city. From this terrace you can admire one of the most beautiful views of Cagliari and the Marina and Stampace quarters. You have also a beautiful view of the harbour.
The "Bastione di Santa Croce", especially in the summer, is one of the most crowded places in Cagliari thanks to his pubs and romantic views of the city which becomes wonderful during the sunset. The terrace will be full of patrols watching your moves, so be stealth and careful when picking the tiny cache. Don't forget then to take a picture of you with the wonderful city scape in the background.
