Local geocachers have seen a boom in new participants in this great game. I thought it would be fun to explain the basics of hiding your first geocache. I will show you some of the containers that work, and some that just don't seem to cut it. I'll give you a few tips on how to make a cache endure through all 4 of Iowa's seasons, how to keep a cache secure, and how to make finding them fun!
