This cache was put out to commerate the establishement of the Grant's Wood Park. Through this geocache, my hope is that people will discover -- and experience -- this little jewel of a park located along the High Trestle Trail. Boone County Conservation is developing a master plan for the property, which will include an environmental/conservation education center, reconstructed prairie, and possibly campsites and cabins.
The cache container is a small plastic container containing a log book and some SWAG.
