Nad wzniesieniem krąży mnóstwo historii. Pagórek w kształcie kopca o dziwnie regularnych kształtach. Jedna z histori mówi o tym iż pod koniec XIX wieku na terenie Mroczy mieszkało małżeństwo, które popadło w wielkie długi. Niemogąc znaleźć innego wyjścia popełnili samobójstwo na Guteherce. Od tego czasu na wzniesieniu chowano samobójców. Faktem jest, że na guteherce do dziś pozostają zapomniane resztki grobów.
