Geocache Description:

Here is a locationless virtual cache that can be done anywhere. My coordinates are not to be used, unless you want to go there for dinner. Find a big boat out of the water that has been permanently changed into a place of business or other type of attrcation.

The coordinates for this cache are a starting point only!

Since I've logged a bunch of these gofer-ball type caches, I thought it only fitting to create a few of my own!

The Chart House Restaurant (formerly the Kon-Tiki Club) was enhanced by the addition of a 120 foot two masted schooner in the early 1970s. A feat all the more remarkable since the vessel had to be moved overland about 6 miles from the Minnesota River. Now it is a pleasant outer suburban restautant, with nice ambience in the summer and particularly during the Christmas season. The food is fairly dependable if uninspired, and the semi-regular house band, the Asian Society, is a Coppola-esque oddity; an almost all Vietnamese band that plays the hell out of KC and the Sunshine Band and other 70s monstrosities. Of course it helps to have a couple of Vodka Gimlets in you to truly appeciate them.

Your mission: Find a big boat that has been transmogrifed into a business or other attraction that has been permanently lunched into terra firma. Your brother-in-law's 24 foot Smoker Craft in the weed pile behind the pole barn does not count! Post the usual picture with you or your gps and the coordinates, and any other info you feel is perinent. One log per boat, and one per cacher!
Bon voyage!
