The Bloch Fountain was dedicated in September 2001. Named for
Henry Bloch, founder of H&R Block, this fountain was made from
over 10,000 square feet of granite and can shoot water more than
1000 feet in the air. The jets are computer-choreographed, and the
display is constantly changing; we watched it for fifteen minutes
and never saw it repeat. A full description, including pictures
taken during its construction, can be found at http://www.kcfountains.com/education/howto.html.
The coordinates for this virtual cache will put you near a plate
of granite (part of the wall of the fountain) with five words
engraved in it. Email me the word in the middle. Don't post it
here, even if encrypted.
Note: The word you are looking for is on the
fountain. It's not "Pershing".
