Sarkanās klintis [LAT]
Sarkanās klintis jeb Raiskuma iezis atrodas uz Cēsu pilsētas un Raiskuma pagasta robežas, pie Gaujas vecupes, 500 m augšpus Raiskuma kroga.
Kraujas apakšējā daļā 200 m garumā atsegti 10 m augsti augšdevonu smilšakmeņi.. Gaujas svītas sarkanīgie, dažviet dzeltenīgie, slīpslāņotie smilšakmeņi. Iežu virsma nelīdzena, rievu un plaisu sašķelta. Klintīm ir pārtraukums vidusdaļā. Sarkanajās klintīs ir vairākas nelielas alas un nišas. Lielākā niša – apmēram 7 m plata, 5 m augsta, 3,5 m dziļa, atrodas Z daļā.
No plaisām un alām izplūst vairāki avoti. Viens no tiem savdabīgs ir Rūcamavots klinšu lejasdaļā.Pieeju klintīm apgrūtina vecupes un slīkšņājs.
Red cliffs [ENG]
The Red Cliffs are situated on the massif of the right bank of Gauja river, approximately 0.5km from the old Lieplejas, or Raiskuma inn up the Gauja river but cannot be seen from the bank of the Gauja river. The 200 m long and 10 m high sand – stone outcrop with a disruption in the middle section can seen on the steep bank of the Gauja ancient riverbed. The cliffs have a reddish colour which led to the naming of them as the Red Cliffs.
Several springs also flow out of the cliff and one of them is named Rūcamavots. Many people visit simply for the water from this spring, and there is a path that has been built to access the spring.
