Growing up my dad owned Smith Sales, a wholesale company that use to supply goods to all the small country stores across South Western Ontario. He sold everything from paper products to small appliances and toys. My favorite being matchbox dinky cars, Every year for Christmas and my Birthday i was ensure to get a few more matchbox toys. I had the Garage, race tracks and a ton of car's truck's and planes. After the department stores started opening, and the big box stores came around most of the small corner stores all closed up. My Dad shrunk the store, just basically selling paper supplies at the end before he sold the business and retired .
