This cache is part of seven kilometers walk at the valley of ''Watermills of Ligona''.
Through various and interesting places and exciting views, we are going to discover both nature greatnes but also human creativiness and clever use of running water power.
We are going to see how our ancestors where clever enough to route the same water source of ''Ligona'' to create a series of 15 water mills!
Roads are padded with marble stones, as the water channels and the mill structures. When the water passed each mill was driven to the next one, and re-used to move the next mill paddle wheel. This wheel was conected to the mill stone and crashed the wheat or olives as needed.
On every stage of this tour please keep alerted. Stones are slippery when wet, not stable at all times. We meet with snake, eagles, hedgehog, falcons, turtle, ants, various birds, sheeps, cows, bulls, scorpions and goats ! Not all of them are innocent or house breed animals ! Please be carefull walking around especially when turning rocks to find the small boxes.
Bring water with you, wear correct shoes and pants, have a walking stick to assist you. Don't do it alone, some places have no GSM coverage!
