Ein del av kulturløypa - Mosterhamn

Landskapet rundt Moster Amfi er fullt av rike kulturminner. Kulturløypa - Mosterhamn fører deg gjennom deler av dette landskapet. Løypa har i alt 16 postar og i følgje turkartet tek turen vel ein time.

Kart og informasjon om løypa kan kjøpes i Kafeen i Amfiet, men du kan og gå runden utan kart.


Dette er post nr. 16 på kulturløypa
 

Dette er ei gamal kalkgruve fyllt med vatn. Dei seinare åra, har bygdefolket danna eit vel, og stellt til fin badestad i denne gruva. Det er to sandvolley-baner, leikeplass for dei minste, stor grill til felles bruk, benker til grillkosen og sandstrand. Badestranda er fin, men vær obs, det blir brått veldig djupt. Det vert sagt er det ingen i dag som veit kor djupt denne gruva går.

Det er mogleg å gå gjennom gruvegong inn til Mostratunet. Den andre gruvegongen går inn i amfiet. Den er kun open ved høve.

The landscape surrounding Moster Amphitheatre is filled with cultural spots. The culture trail - Mosterhamn will guide you through parts of this landcape. The trail has a total of 16 points and according to the trailmap the walk takes about an hour.

This is an old limestone mine now filled with water. The later years people living around here have put together a team and made this mine into a nice recreational area. There is a beach, two beachvolley courts, playground, grilling-area and trampoline. The beach is nice, but be aware it suddely get's very deep. It's said that nobody knows how deep it goes. 

It's possible to walk through the mine shaft and end up at "mostratunet". The other shaft ends up inside the theatre, and is rarely open.
