Geocache Description:

East Hartford pumping Station. Another cache along the Horton Burn.

This cache on the footpath adjacent to East Hartford Pumping Station. This is on the public footpath in public woodlands. If you're walking from Another Horton Burn Bridge  then you can continue along the footpath to Boghouses (yes that's what they are called). This is not really a drive by, you really have to park at Boghouses or near the pub in East Hartford.  Walk along the road to the sewage works, this is also the public footpath if you check on OS maps. The adjacent paved path is better, but you must leave it prior to the houses to avoid being trapped behind the metal railings. The road is relatively safe as Northumbrian Water have a 15mph limit which their employees stick to, I have had no problems, however you must of course keep a your dog on the lead. The cache a nano magnetic. If you are going to another cache in the woods then make your way back to the road, continue along and take the path into the woods at the gate on your right.

Please practice CITO.
