Kiedyś* tutaj** znajdował się młyn***.
* Młyny na Kaczej widnieją już na najstarszych mapach jakie udało mi się znaleźć. Dla map sprzed XX wieku, określenie momentu wydania jest bardzo trudne, a mapy późniejsze często powielają treść kartograficzną z map poprzednich.
** Przebieg rzeki przez lata zmienił się bardzo mocno. W dolnym biegu zadziałała erozja, a w Małym Kacku osadnictwo. Dodatkowo w 16 i 17 maja 1937 roku miała miejsce potężna powódź niszcząca trzy młyny.
*** Dawniej młynem (niem.: Mühle) określano w zasadzie każdy zakład korzytający z energii wody: hamernie, papiernie czy młyny zbożowe. Dokładne przeznaczenie konkretnej budowli mogło dodatkowo zmieniać się w czasie.

At some time* a mill** was located here***.
* Mills on Kacza can be found even on the oldest maps I was able to find. For maps from before 20th century, publishing date is difficult to tell and later maps often copy the cartographic content from older maps.
** A mill (Polish: młyn, German: Mühle) was used as a generic term to refer to a wide array of plants utilising power of moving water including trip hammers, paper mills and regular flour mills. Exact purpose of a given structure could also change over time.
*** The river changed a lot throughout the years. Lower course has seen much erosion, whereas Mały Kack has been populated. Additionally on 16th and 17th of May 1937, a massive flood hit the area, destroying three of the mills.

W tej okolicy funkcjonowała dawniej osada rzemieślnicza. Do tej pory szczególnie dobrze zachował się dom młynarza - wskazywany przez kesz po sąsiedzku. Młyn prawdopodobnie jako jedyny przetrwał powódź z 1937.

There used to be a craft settlement in this area. Miller's house remained in a good shape to this day - see the nearby cache. This mill is probably the only one remaining after flood of 1937.
