Geocache Description:

We propose you a geocaching trail in Thessaloniki's New Beach (Nea Paralia). It is made by students and teachers of the Senior High School of Intercultural Education of Evosmos who worked on a European Erasmus+ project entitled "Geocaching in and out of the classroom. Minds on the Move" in which students and teachers from 7 european schools (Italy, Spain, France, Portugal,Greece, Lithuania and Poland) also participate .

The Garden of the Mediterranean

After the Kallidopoulou street opposite the Kyrillos and Methodios Church, the Mediterranean garden is full of aromatic plants and citrus trees.

Despite the altitude differences that it has on its terrain, it is very easy, not tiring at all for the walker and it extends over a large area. Particular attention has been paid to this segment, a semi-open refreshment building is planned and a special area for dogs.

The Garden of Phokas

This thematic area preserved the old name of the homonymous park, but its form has changed quite bit. It is located in the imaginary line between the German Consulate in Thessaloniki and Kalidopoulou Street. A playground has been created there with big emphasis on safety and controlled access to the site , also there are many games for children with special needs. The constructions have been changed completly and if you do not have children, you will want to visit it so that you feel like a child for a while.

The Garden of the Seasons

It is perhaps one of the most beloved gardens. Every season it look like to complitly change its form. Its fauna consists of natural Greek green, the terrain is artificially embossed while its corridors are free-lined. Many marble chairs have been placed there if you want to move away from the crowd moving on the seaside front. The open-air amphitheater in the area, except for the quaint quadrupeds and the children who love to climb up the stairs, is available for events. In the summer months many choose the place to have a picnic and lie down on the lush lawn.

The Garden of the Sand - The Garden of Iskio

It is the theme garden that includes a traffic park where small cyclists safely take their first lessons and so on. Next to the hotel are two tennis courts which are available for hire with dressing rooms and toilets. And right in front of the beach there is a playground where young and old children can have fun with its games.

Natural continuity of the Ammos garden and before the Municipal Refreshment Center is the garden of Iskio with built-in living rooms while in the adjacent area of Megalou Alexandrou street a side road, a parking space and a pavement.
