W latach 1864-1865 właściciel dóbr Glinnik podził swoje grunty. Powstały wówczas nowe osady Palestyna ( Palastina) i Józefów. Właściciel podarował również ziemię pod cmentarz i szkołę w Palestynie. Szkoła w Palestynie została założona 1 lutego 1866 roku i funkcjonowała do 1910 r.. W 1910 r. spłonęła. Była to szkoła ewangelicka, „początkowa ogólna”. W 1886 r. Palestyna liczyła 20 mieszkańców i 4 domy. Obecnie w Palestynie jest 40 gospodarstw domowych.

In 1864-1865, the owner of the Glinnik estate divided his land. New settlements were established then Palestine (Palastina) and Józefów. The owner also donated land for a cemetery and a school in Palestine. The school in Palestine was founded on February 1, 1866 and operated until 1910. In 1910 it burned down. It was an evangelical school, "the beginning general". In 1886, Palestine had 20 inhabitants and 4 houses. There are currently 40 households in Palestine.
