Since there are so few caches in Tamsalu, we decided to improve the situation right away :)
On the initiative of the Government Office, it is planned establish oak forests of the Estonia’s 100 oaks all over Estonia by the 100th anniversary of the Republic of Estonia – these include parks, alleys, or oak groves having hundred oaks. According to the initial plan, at least one oak forest will be planted in each county in cooperation with the school children and the local governments. For this purpose, at least one school and local government from each county has given their consent.
The 100 oak park of Tamsalu is planned to be designed and built as the representational park of the given programme. It is also the first of its kind. Tamsalu was chosen as the place for the representational park due to the magic of the name and its central location in Estonia. It was opened on June 1, 2018

Kuna Tamsalus on häbematult vähe aardeid, siis otsustasime olukorda kohe natukene parandada :)
1. juunil 2018 avati Tamsalus „Eesti 100 tamme“ esindustammik. Algatus „Eesti 100 tamme“ sündis Eesti Vabariigi 95. juubelil. Viis aastat tagasi laste ja noorte kasvama pandud tammetõrudest on rajatud uhked EV100 tammepargid, mis on saanud väärikaks kingituseks Eesti Vabariigi 100. sünnipäevaks. Lähedalasuvas Kukelossis (pildil) asub paekivi töötlemise teemaline näitus.
